Current Obsessions: New Traditions
Of note this weekend? Cozy cotton sheets, a new Paris pied-a-terre, plant bingo, and more:

- Julie’s eyeing this limited-run cookbook by Nickey Kehoe—with proceeds benefiting the LA Food Bank and NY Common Pantry.
- This just in: a first glimpse of Bode’s new Tokyo outpost.
- And in Paris, the onetime private office of Karl Lagerfeld is now available for stays.
- And Margaret Howell is in residence at The Newt in Somerset, UK; info here.
- We did not expect this Ikea find to make us cry this week, but here we are.
- Angelenos, you’re invited to tea at Plain English to celebrate their newest color collection.
- Really love the earthy tones of the new Nordic Knots x Studio Mellone rug collection.
- “This textured bedding collection would have me tucking in even earlier than usual,” says Annie.
- Can’t wait for spring? Consider these botanical wallpapers inspired by National Trust gardens.
-
“Some friends of Gardenista are hosting an event at the Garden Museum in London, and only one of them is British,” Kendra cheekily tells us. “Landscape gardener Jinny Blom will be in discussion with Janet Mavec, whom Blom describes as the Katharine Hepburn of gardening. They will be talking about Bird Haven Farm, Mavec’s home in New Jersey, where she persuaded the Spanish designer Fernando Carruncho to guide its direction. See you on March 17.”

Art from nature in nature is just sublime, no?

Doug Tallamy’s Homegrown National Park group has teamed up with My Home Park to offer custom ecological garden designs and pre-designed keystone garden kits. Now through March 3, get 20 percent off with code HNP20. (Hat tip: Laura.)
-
Spotted some cool-looking habitat piles on Insta: this nesting high-rise in Denver and this dead hedge fence in Brussels.
-
Looking for a new hobby? How about plant bingo? Find upcoming events here. (Hat tip: Kier.)
-
Also from Laura: a magical brooch.
-
Today and tomorrow are the last days to check out the Northwest Flower and Garden Show in Seattle. Ticket info here.
