Home Office Aha!: Københavns Møbelsnedkeri’s Fabric-Covered Pinboards from Denmark
Have you ever coveted a fabric-covered bulletin board? We hadn’t either—until we spotted this new collection from Københavns Møbelsnedkeri (translation: Copenhagen Cabinetmaking). “Everything is handmade with us,” says KBH, which designs and builds standout kitchens, furniture, and lighting in a historic Copenhagen complex surrounded by other creative studios. The wood for the frames comes from KBH’s own sawmill; even the packaging is produced by their box factory, Elvo.
Take a look at their pinboards. If they inspire you to upholster your own, there are a slew of YouTube How-To videos, but KBH’s are so lovingly detailed we can’t guarantee comparable results.

Above: “Our intention was to design a pinboard that is beautiful in its own right, even without anything pinned to it,” explains KBH. This one is framed in fumed oak.
Abov: KBH only describes the featured cotton as “an intricate woven textile.” We think we recognize it as Lost and Found, a Kit Kemp design from Christopher Farr; available in the US from L.A. Design Concepts; $448.50 per yard.
